Frequently asked questions
It is not mandatory to keep it attached in every case, but it is essential for driving and parking in Low Emission Zones (ZBE) in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia or Zaragoza. Driving without it in a ZBE can result in fines of up to €200.
The DGT assigns it automatically based on your vehicle fuel type, EURO standard and registration date. When you enter the registration number, we check the official data and send you the correct sticker: 0, ECO, C or B. Vehicles without a sticker classification (A) do not receive a sticker.
On the lower right corner of the front windscreen, on the inside. For motorcycles, place it somewhere visible such as the fairing or number plate holder. It must remain clearly visible to ZBE officers and cameras.
Standard delivery anywhere in mainland Spain takes 24-48 business hours from payment confirmation. For the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, delivery can take between 3 and 5 business days.
Yes. The sticker is linked to the vehicle, not the owner. You only need the registration number and a valid delivery address in Spain.
